Welcome to Laura Baptist Christian Community. Since 1875 Laura Baptists have been celebrating Jesus and seeking to be a place of worship, welcome, hospitality and service in the community.
You’re invited to join us on Sunday mornings for worship. We meet over coffee at 10am and then share in worship and the Word from 10.30am. If you hang around afterwards, you’ll get second morning tea!
Our monthly Soup on Sunday starts up again on May 3rd at 5pm – a local community meal everyone is invited to. Dates for this winter: May 3rd, May 31st, 5th July, 2nd August and 6th September.
On Sunday 16th August Laura Baptist Christian Community will be celebrating its 150th anniversary. This will be held at House of Hope (38 Herbert Street) at 10.30 am as part of the regular Sunday morning worship gathering. The guest preacher will be Rev Dr Melinda Cousins, Director of Ministries with Baptist Churches SA & NT.
